Is God directing your paths today? Why or why not?
Maybe you are directing your own path. Maybe you are letting other people direct your path. Maybe the culture, the values of the world around you are directing your path. Maybe you are drifting and not sure who is directing your path. Or if you are even on a path.
First we do our part. Acknowledge Him. We know God keeps His word, so if we do our part, He will do His part.
Acknowledge that He is the God in control, God created the world and all therein. He can do anything. Invite God to direct your affairs. Remember God cares about all aspects of your life. He knows about everything in your life.
It’s important to seek God’s direction and to ask Him. God will not lead you in a direction that is contrary to His Word. He will not lead you into a direction that is bad for you.
The path may not always be easy. In the Old Testament, when God directed Moses into the path of leading the Israelites out of bondage, it was not the easiest path in the short-term. It was great hardship. They left the familiar and walked into a direction they were not sure of. They had to acknowledge God and to trust Him every step of the way.
